The All-Russian Ethnographic Festival will take place in Simferopol. Everyone is invited to the film screenings

CrimeaPRESS reports:

From September 29 to October 1, the All-Russian Ethnographic Festival will be held in Simferopol, where 34 domestic films will be shown. The paintings are dedicated to the national traditions and customs of different peoples living in our country. You can view the works for free.

According to the press service of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Crimea, the competition program of the festival, which has been held since 2018, includes films from 14 regions of Russia, including the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. The films tell about national traditions and customs, the richness and diversity of cultures, and interethnic harmony.

There are several nominations, including the festival’s traditional “Multinational World of Russia” and “Crimean Frame”. In addition, there is a nomination “For the Motherland!”, within which military-patriotic films dedicated to the soldiers and volunteers of the Northern Military District and life in new regions of Russia will be presented. New this year will be the nomination “We don’t abandon OURS.” It features feature and documentary films created by residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as filmed in these regions. The festival will feature both full-length films and short films— reports Tourist portal of Crimea.

The work will be evaluated by a jury headed by actor, director and screenwriter Mikhail Bogdasarov, best known for his supporting roles. Among the latest projects in which the artist starred are “Life on Call,” “Major Thunder” and “Naughty.” Mikhail Sergeevich will take part in the festival events.
