The All-Russian festival “Connecting Shores” was held in Crimea

With the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea and the Republican Folk Art Center, the All-Russian festival “Connecting the Shores” was held in Crimea.
The project participants included artistic choreographic, vocal, folklore, instrumental groups, amateur artists, masters of arts and crafts, performers of national tales and other genres of folk art from Sevastopol, DPR, LPR, Krasnodar Territory, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Astrakhan, Volgograd regions and Republic of Crimeareports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
The festival is aimed at building national pride, preserving the identity of small and endangered peoples, unlocking the creative potential of participants, strengthening civil unity, harmonizing interethnic relations, preventing extremism and preventing conflicts on national and religious grounds.
The project was implemented using a grant provided by the Russian Cultural Foundation. The founder of the festival is the Folk Art Center of the Republic of Crimea, the organizer is the Regional Public Organization “Community Uniting Volgograd Residents”.
As part of the project, concert programs were presented in the military units of Kerch and Feodosia, the play “The Pit” was shown in Old Crimea, a rally-concert and a round table were held, exhibitions, master classes, and discussion clubs for young people were organized in Yalta, Feodosia, and the Simferopol region. The final event of the project was a Gala concert, which took place in Kerch— said the Ministry of Culture of Crimea.
