Today at the Rospotrebnadzor stand we are announcing the start of a flu vaccination campaign for our entire dear, beautiful country and its inhabitantssaid the head of Rospotrebnadzor.

This year’s flu vaccine has changed one component for the H1N1 flu variant. The antigens of influenza A(H3N2) and influenza viruses remain the same. The head of Rospotrebnadzor noted that today the flu vaccine has already been delivered to the regions of Russia, and the readiness for the vaccination campaign is quite high. At EEF 2023, at the Rospotrebnadzor stand, all participants can get a free flu vaccination with a domestic flu vaccine with current strains in a specially equipped medical room and receive a standard certificate of the procedure completed.

In addition, in accordance with the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation, this year, as before, it is necessary to vaccinate at least 60% of the total population of the Russian Federation and 75% of risk groups. Risk groups include workers in the medical and educational industries, elderly people, citizens with weakened immune systems and chronic diseases, as well as young children.

Also, before October 1, regions must assess the readiness of medical organizations to work during a period of rising incidence. It is necessary to ensure the maintenance of a minimum supply of antiviral drugs, disinfectants and personal protective equipment in the pharmacy chain and medical organizations.
