The All-Russian mini-football tournament Azov Sea Cup-2024 has started. Crimeans are participating

On June 17, the anniversary, X All-Russian mini-football (futsal) tournament Azov Sea Cup started in the village of Golubitskaya, Krasnodar Territory, at the Olimp sports complex.

Azov Sea Cup is one of the most popular mini-football amateur tournaments in Russia; it attracts the best amateur (but essentially semi-professional) teams in the country. Since 2017, leading futsal teams have been regular participants in the Azov Sea CupPARK League of Crimea«. The best result among our fellow countrymen in 2018 was achieved by “Ronda” from Agrarny (Simferopol), who became the silver medalist of the competition. This year, 32 teams will compete for victory in the tournament, including (according to the information specified by the organizers) four teams from Crimea (Simferopol Driving School «Formula» and IC FTS RK-A2MED, Yalta «Spartak» and «Mriya-Chernomorets»)— reports «Crimean sport».

Initially, all participating teams are divided into eight groups (4 teams in each).

Group A. BTSK (Bataysk, Rostov region), “Alpha” (Krasnodar), “Valerik” (Chechnya), “Guardsman-double” (Donetsk).

Group B. “Guardsman” (Donetsk), “Metallurg” (Abinsk, Krasnodar region), KKB-2 (Krasnodar), Unisport (Yerevan, Armenia).

Group C. «VETO» (Krasnodar), «Stolitsa» (Moscow), «Spartak-Transneft» (Georgievsk, Stavropol Territory), «Zaporozhskaya» (Temryuk, Krasnodar Territory).

Group D. KVVU (Krasnodar), “Ruskon” (Novorossiysk), “Spartak” (Yalta), “Alfa” (Stavropol).

Group E. “Abrau-Aquamarine” (Novorossiysk), IC FTS RK-A2MED (Simferopol), “Sparta” (Donetsk), “Vkusnoest” (Taganrog).

Group F. “Altoprae Marine” (Novorossiysk), “Dynamo” (Krasnodar), Driving School “Formula” (Simferopol), “Spartak” U-17 (Donetsk).

Group G. “VETO-2” (Krasnodar), “Mriya-Chernomorets” (Yalta), “Finish” (Moscow), RSS (Grozny).

Group N. “Torpedo” (Krasnodar), “Khleborob” (Khokholsky, Voronezh region), “Spartak” (Donetsk), “Real” (Astrakhan).

Today, June 17, three Crimean teams are entering the fight, their opponents will be: “Spartak” (Yalta) – “Alfa” (Stavropol) (15.10), SC FTS RK-A2MED – “Sparta” (16.50), Driving School “Formula” – “Dynamo” (18.30).

After the matches of the group stage of the competition (in groups everyone will play with everyone else), 16 teams (who took first or second place in their groups) will continue to fight for the trophy in the “Golden Playoff”, the rest — in the “Silver Playoff” (consolation tournament) . In the playoffs there are knockout matches. The winner of the tournament will be determined on Sunday, June 23.

We also note that two Crimean referees will work at the Azov Sea Cup-2024 — Dmitry Karmanov from Evpatoria (recently, however, moved to Krasnodar) and Arsen Abdulaev from Sakchan.
