The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Black Sea Cooperation — 2023” is being held at SevSU
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Representatives of the authorities, business, public organizations of Crimea and Sevastopol, scientists from the south of Russia, new regions and Moscow at the conference “Black Sea Cooperation — 2023” discussed the political, military-political, economic situation on a macro-regional scale in the Black Sea region.
This conference truly became a significant event in the life of not only Sevastopol and Crimea, but also for the entire south of Russia and the Black Sea region. It will allow you not only to express your position, but also to hear the arguments of your opponents, organize a discussion and, as a result, outline ways of interaction to overcome the threats that face Russia in general and our regions in particular., — said the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol at the opening of the conference Vladimir Nemtsev.
He expressed hope that the result of the work will be concrete proposals for the regional executive branch and at the legislative level.
SevSU Vice-Rector for Development and Digital Transformation Vladimir Meshkov is confident that in 2025 the conference will receive international status:
Our conference, which brings together scientific expertise, government and business, is quite young, but has been gaining its scale for three years now. The bright future of this conference is to still receive international status.
Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov told participants how the peninsula shares its unique experience of bloodlessly effective integration into the Russian Federation with new regions.
I understand that everything is completely different there. The most important problem is the lack of personnel at all levels of government, which complicates the adoption of even the simplest decisions. We are trying to help them. The mood there is radically different from the mood in Sevastopol and Crimea. This is an important thing to work with. This is a challenge that needs to be overcomenotes Vladimir Konstantinov.
Chairman of the Election Commission of the Zaporozhye Region, master’s student of the Department of Political Science at Sevastopol State University Galina Katyushchenko thanked Sevastopol and Crimea for their help.
If it were not for Crimea and Sevastopol, the integration process would have been much slower. This is the general opinion. They share their experience with us. Every Crimean and resident of Sevastopol who comes to us works with soul and dedication. We do not divide by region, but understand that we live in one country. I’m a little offended when they say “new territories”. We are not new territories, we are where we should be in our history, in our essence, in our mental and spiritual state, — speaks Katyushchenko.
