The Amazing Story of Rescue on Mount Ayu-Dag — Accidents Are Not Accidents, but Miracles Do Happen
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The day before at 18:20 the rescue service received a message that a man had gotten lost in the area of Mount Ayu-Dag. He also reported that he had started to go down the dry river bed and found a woman in a helpless state. The tourist was unable to indicate his exact location. A duty shift of 4 people from the Alushta ASO left for the supposed search area.
Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, the rescuers began searching on foot. Ten minutes later, the man and woman were found on the eastern slope of Mount Ayu-Dag, above the Crimea sanatorium. The employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Krym-SPAS» transported the woman to the territory of the sanatorium using a stretcher and handed her over to medical workers. The man was escorted to the urban-type settlement of Partenit, he did not need medical assistance.— the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Crimea reported.
It should be noted that the woman who was found by the man is Galina Dolganova, who went missing in Partenit and was searched for by volunteers of the LizaAlertKrym squad for three days (she went missing on July 18 — she simply left home and did not return). So, this rescue story is truly unique — it could not have happened without a miracle.
A concerned citizen called the police State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Krym-SPAS» and emergency medical care. Later, Galina Vasilievna was taken to the hospital, where she received medical care and was sent home. The three-day search ended with the cherished «Found! Alive!» We would like to thank our volunteers who took part in the search, all concerned citizens, the Crimea-Spas staff and the emergency medical care staff for their quick response and assistance.— note volunteers LizaAlertCrimea.
