The Ambassador of Hospitality of Crimea represented the region at the community meeting of the “Masters of Hospitality” project

A meeting of the regional project team took place in the Krasnodar Territory «Masters of Hospitality» presidential platform “Russia is a land of opportunity”. Ambassadors of hospitality of Russia and representatives of authorities supervising tourism in subjects from 48 regions exchanged experiences, established contacts, and made joint plans for 2024 to develop the tourism community. Our Republic was represented by the Ambassador of Hospitality of Crimea Daria Zhuravleva. The meeting took place on the federal territory of Sirius.

The “Masters of Hospitality” project has been implemented within the framework of the “Social Elevators for Everyone” program of the national project “Education” since 2019 and is aimed at supporting talented specialists in the hospitality industry, staffing the industry and promoting the development of Russian territories.

The team of the “Masters of Hospitality” project presented the meeting participants with the concept of the new season, where four areas await participants, including community development, selection of outstanding personnel, participant support programs, special projects and cases.

As part of the program for hospitality masters, a series of educational sessions were held. Maxim Fedorov, mentor of the “Masters of Hospitality” project, co-founder and PR director of the branding agency ENDY, held a workshop for the masters, where he spoke about six key factors in forming the brand image of a territory and revealed the secrets of finding unique ideas and strategies that will help attract investment and increase tourist attractiveness regions of Russia. At the training from Lyubov Matievskaya, an expert on sustainable development of territories through hospitality, head of the Red Elephant Travel Workshop company, participants analyzed their work situations from the point of view of the theory of cross-functional interaction and made individual plans for building trust.

The development of human resources is a pressing issue for all industries, including the hospitality industry. The head of training and personnel development of the Mantera group of companies, Ilya Meshcheryakov, at the educational session “How to attract professional personnel,” spoke about what trends in the field of staffing are currently facing the hospitality industry, and also gave examples of successful practices in attracting and retaining professional specialists.
