The amount that Crimea demands from Ukraine as compensation for damages for the water blockade has become known

The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Crimea decided to fully satisfy the claims of the State Council of Crimea in the case of compensation for damage caused by Ukraine as a result of the water blockade of the peninsula. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.

Based on the results of the judicial review, it was decided to collect jointly and severally from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine, the North Crimean Canal Authority in favor of the treasury of the Republic of Crimea for losses in the amount of 152,622,372,067.00 rubles.

For us, the legal assessment of Ukraine’s criminal actions directed against Crimea and Crimeans is a significant, symbolic event. Ahead is the calculation of damage as a result of the transport, energy, financial, and food blockades of Crimea. Work is already underwaysaid Konstantinov.
