The artist was awarded the distinction “For his contribution to the development of culture of the Republic of Crimea.”
The anniversary creative evening of People’s Artist of Ukraine, Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Valery Karpov took place on the stage of the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea, where the artist has been serving for more than 40 years.
Valery Karpov has a rare talent and incredible energy, spiritual breadth and charm. These qualities help him to sincerely and deeply convey the character and feelings of his characters, to be organic and unique in each role. The success of such performances as “Khanuma”, “Dubrovsky”, “American Comedy”, “Sevastopol Waltz”, “Queen of Spades”, “Circus Princess” was largely made possible by him.
During the evening, Valery Karpov was awarded the insignia “For contribution to the development of culture of the Republic of Crimea” by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, which was presented by the deputy head of the republican department, Andrei Tereshchenko.
First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Efim Fiks presented the artist with a valuable gift from the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea — a watch.
Theater director Alexander Vishnevy presented the medal “For professional excellence on stage.” A congratulatory address was presented from the theater staff. The Chairman of the Crimean regional branch of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation presented the hero of the day with a commemorative figurine.
