The Architectural Council in Sevastopol agreed on three projects for the improvement of public gardens
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On behalf of Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, all projects in the field of urban improvement must be approved by the architectural and artistic council. Today, the members of the council considered and adopted three projects for the overhaul of public gardens. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Nikolai Gordyushin. All projects went through public discussions before being considered by the council. Within their framework, the Sevastopol residents expressed their wishes for the improvement of the territories.
Some decisions have been commented upon, which the designer will take into account. But the main thing is that the projects were based on the wishes of local residents, which they expressed during the discussions. If a controversial issue arose somewhere, then the wishes of the Sevastopol residents were a priority , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Nikolai Gordyushin.
The first project is a major overhaul of the territory adjacent to the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Polina Osipenko in the village of Osipenko. Mikhail Razvozhaev ordered to improve this site during a working trip to the Kachinsky municipal district. Nearby are a highway, a residential sector, an office building, as well as a park named after. Lenina.
The structure of the square has an axial composition. On the main axis there is an object of cultural heritage — a monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Polina Osipenko, and opposite — a monument to Vladimir Lenin. The territory has a rich plant composition, both woody and vegetable, there are also representatives of the Red Book plants — they are in the part that we do not affect , — said Anastasia Shcherbakova, a representative of the Novy Gorod design company.
Currently, the asphalt and tile coating in the park are in poor condition, so their dismantling is planned. Lighting is unevenly distributed, which is also not enough — it is planned to strengthen it. Also, new benches and trash cans will be installed in the park, paths will be equipped, engineering networks will be replaced.
After the improvement, the territory will become a recreation area for residents of adjacent houses, as well as provide an unhindered access to infrastructure facilities and an administrative building where public services are provided. For security and barrier-free access to the administrative building, it is planned to equip a ramp and stairs, which were not there before.
Members of the architectural council noted that the stands to be located in the square must have an anti-vandal coating. This will extend the life of the equipment.
Also, a positive conclusion was received by the project for the overhaul of the square near school No. 41 on the street. Gorpischenko. Many proposals were received from residents of the district to install comfortable benches with armrests and awnings — they are included in the project. Also, local residents asked to provide interactive activities for children, since there is a school nearby, and the square is a waiting area — the project plans to make a zone for playing hopscotch. In addition, lighting will be installed here and the coating will be replaced.
During the architectural and artistic council, a proposal was also made to change the location of the trash cans in the park, as they are too close to the benches.
The third project, which was supported at the meeting, is the overhaul of the territory near the church in the village of Dalnee. The public space is within the boundaries of a cultural heritage site and has also been asked to be landscaped by local residents.
As part of the improvement, it is planned to create a comfortable environment. The project provides for paving with tiles, new lighting, as well as the installation of two types of benches, including stone ones. On the territory there are representatives of the flora of the Red Book of Russia and Sevastopol, so we have provided for the protection of the root system of trees , — said Anastasia Shcherbakova.
In addition, at the request of representatives of the church, a sculpture and a rotunda will be installed in the square. The members of the architectural council proposed to consider a more optimal location for the sculpture so that it would not be in the shade and, due to the lack of light, would not lose its structure.
In total, the Architectural and Art Council reviewed 12 projects today.
