The volume of residential real estate commissioning at the end of 2023 in the Republic of Crimea increased by 32% compared to 2022. Maria Zholobova, head of the housing research department of the Analytical Center DOM.RF, announced this at an online conference.

Housing commissioning in the Southern Federal District has been growing steadily over the past five years. Last year it reached its maximum. In total, 14.6 million square meters were commissioned in the Southern Federal District in 2023. m is 6% higher than in 2022. The most active growth was observed in Crimea — 32%, in the Volgograd region — 19% and in Adygea — 21%, — quotes a specialist TASS.

As Alexey Ermakov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Southern Federal District, clarified, for the second year in a row this is an absolute record, and of the total volume, individual housing construction accounts for 60%. At the same time, in Russia its share in 2023 was 53%.

According to the state-owned company, in 2023 more than 1.2 million square meters were commissioned in Crimea. m of housing, in Adygea — 564 thousand sq. m. m, in the Volgograd region — 951 thousand sq. m. m.

Last year, mortgage issuance in the Southern Federal District grew faster than in Russia as a whole. In total, 202 thousand mortgage loans were issued for 773 billion rubles — this is 73% more in number and [на] 82% in volume than in 2022,” Zholobova noted. The leaders in terms of the volume of issued loans were the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region — they accounted for about 70% of the issue.

About 60% of all mortgages issued in 2023 in the Southern Federal District were issued under preferential government programs — 130 thousand loans worth 585 billion rubles. This is twice as much as in 2022, — the expert added.
