The Armenian City Court heard a case of harm to a child. The offender will pay 800 thousand rubles

The Armenian City Court of the Republic of Crimea recovered compensation for moral damage caused by the crime from the convicted person in favor of the minor victim.

The prosecutor of the city of Armyansk filed a lawsuit in the interests of a young child for compensation for moral damage, motivating his claims by the fact that the verdict of the Armenian City Court of the Republic of Crimea found the defendant guilty of committing a crime under Art. 111 part 2 paragraph “b” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — intentional infliction of grievous harm to health, dangerous to human life, committed against a minor, with a punishment of 4 years 6 months of imprisonment, the specified crime caused numerous bodily injuries to the minor, including including serious ones, the child was in a comanoted the press service of the court.

The court, based on the circumstances of the harm to the child’s health, his age, the severity of the injury, the characteristics of the period of rehabilitation of the minor, came to the conclusion that the child undoubtedly experienced moral and physical suffering and recovered from the defendant in compensation for moral damage in favor of the minor an amount of 800 000.00 rubles.

The court’s decision did not enter into legal force.
