The arrangement of the tourist center of Feodosia is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The Head of the Republic of Crimea commented in his Telegram channel on the progress of the project to develop tourist codes for city centers. According to Sergei Aksenov, the cities of Crimea have a centuries-old history, ancient architecture and a unique cultural heritage; it is important to preserve their unique flavor. Thus, the republic continues to improve historical centers within the framework of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”.
This year, work was completed in the Old Town of Alupka and on one of the best urban routes in the country, “Little Jerusalem” in Yevpatoria. A subsidy of 375 million rubles was allocated for the project. A unified architectural style was introduced in tourist centers, signage and navigation were updated, infrastructure was created for people with disabilities, – the press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
Sergey Aksyonov added that by the end of 2024 it is also planned to complete the comprehensive development of the tourist center of Feodosia “Feodosia Uyezd”.
The subsidy amount will be 143.5 million rubles. The project provides for improvement of the 60 Years of October Square on Aivazovsky Avenue: arrangement of a light and music fountain, an interactive recreation area, installation of a rotunda, creation of a barrier-free environment for people with limited mobility– notes the Head of Crimea.
Additionally, funds have been allocated from the republican budget for the installation of a commemorative stele “City of Military Glory” in Feodosia.
