The art project “New Soul” was presented in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A presentation of the immersive art project “New Soul”, dedicated to the philosophy of hospice care for children, took place in Crimea.
The event took place at the Feodosia Literary and Memorial Museum of A.S. Green with the aim of supporting children in need of palliative care through the construction of Russia’s first children’s hospice by the sea.
Childhood is the most wonderful, carefree time in a person’s life and, of course, it should be happy. And if it is in our power to alleviate the suffering of a child, and thereby give him a piece of our heart, a spark of life, then we simply cannot stand aside, especially when it comes to a serious illness. It is gratifying that this project is being carried out with the support of the Feodosia Literary and Memorial Museum of Alexander Stepanovich Green, which is famous for its educational and touching creative events— Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina addressed the project participants, wishing the authors of the art project success, prosperity and the speedy implementation of this noble cause.
Those present at the event got acquainted with a thematic video installation, an exhibition of art objects dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the publication of the extravaganza story “Scarlet Sails” by Alexander Green, and also took part in a charity auction in support of the construction of a hospice.
The children’s hospice in Feodosia is being built with funds from philanthropists. Here they will provide medical care to seriously ill children, psychological and social assistance to their families.
The hospice will become a resource and information and methodological center for the development of palliative care in the Republic of Crimea.
