The autumn fair will be held in Sevastopol from 25 to 27 November

In Sevastopol, on behalf of the Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, an agricultural fair will be held following the results of the harvest. This was announced by the Director of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market of Sevastopol Natalia Skoryukova.

Entrepreneurs are invited to the fair not only from the city of Sevastopol, but also from the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, Melitopol, Kherson Region. The fair will be held from 25 to 27 November in the parking area Yuzhny market from 8: to 16: , she said.

The head of the Department of Agriculture also emphasized that 2022 the year in Sevastopol is one of the most fruitful in recent times.

In total, there are about 21 thousand hectares of agricultural land in Sevastopol. The main type of activity that is carried out on these lands is the cultivation of grapes. Favorable weather conditions gave a high harvest. Vineyards that were planted even two years ago are now bearing fruit. This is a rare occurrence, as the grapes usually bear fruit in three to four years. This year, the yield of barley and wheat is several times higher, as well as stone fruit crops, which gave their indicator by 21% more. These are cherries, peaches, apricots , — said Natalia Skoryukova.

She drew attention to the fact that state support in the form of subsidies and grants helps farmers grow and develop. This year, the total amount of such financing is 27,6 million rubles.
