On the eve of World Tourism Day on September 27, the Raketa beach, located next to the Tavrida art cluster, was awarded the highest award in the “Best Beach” category as part of the VII annual event in the field of resorts and tourism “Recognition of the Year”. The action is carried out on the initiative of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
Raketa Beach is one of the newest infrastructure beaches on the shore of the Sudak Valley near Cape Meganom and the Tavrida art cluster. The beach is located in the Raketchiki microdistrict — hence its name. The beach was opened in the summer of 2022 and since that time has become a new point of attraction for residents and guests of the city.
The territory of the Raketa beach is equipped with open-access public spaces and services for all categories of vacationers. Those who wish can take advantage of the rental of sun loungers and towels, and a storage room. There is a shop, water activities and a fair of Crimean products. In the food court area you can taste a wide variety of cuisines, and at the entrance there is free parking for cars. Also on the territory of “Raketa” there are places for recreation with tents and parking for motorhomes. During the season, concerts and shows by residents of the Tavrida art cluster and invited artists are held on the beach.
The high quality of the services provided was the key factor in winning the “Best Beach” nomination as part of the VII annual event in the field of resorts and tourism “Recognition of the Year,” initiated by the State Council of the Republic of Crimea. The award was summed up on the eve of World Tourism Day on September 27; the Expert Council and Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.
