At the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, the final stage of the Leader’s contest among the schools of the Republic of Crimea was held. The competition for the second year in a row is held by the Academy of Prefessional Education together with the Crimean regional branch of Russian student detachments.
The aim of the competition is to develop couples of educational institutions, increasing the efficiency of the work of counselors and counselors on a scale of the Republic of Crimea.
The profession of a counselor is one of the most popular specialties in the Republic of Crimea in the summer season. This year in Crimea it is planned to improve 190 thousand children over the summer, which creates a need for qualified personnel.
The event was attended by 8 teams from MBOU «Secondary school No. 35 named after E.F. Deryugina ”, the Crimean boarding school for gifted children, Pervomaiskaya school No. 2, MBOU“ Crimean School-Gymnasia ”, MBOU“ Guards School-Gymnasium No. 3 ”, MBOU“ Pervomaiskaya School No. 1 ”, representatives of labor detachments of adolescents of the Republic of Crimea.
The participants were tested for knowledge of the main provisions of the work as counselors, participated in the debate and prepared creative numbers in which they talked about the meaning of the profession of a counselor in the modern world. According to the results of the competition, the 1st place was taken by students of MBOU “SS number 35 named after E.F. Deryugina ”, 2nd place-a team of labor detachments of adolescents of the Republic of Crimea, 3rd place-MBOU“ Crimean School-Gymnasia ”.
Labor detachments of adolescents of Crimea were happy to take part in the coupling competition. The teams gathered in the team who had already managed to work this summer in children’s camps, as well as those who have it to do. For each of them, the profession of a counselor is not just a job, but opportunities for personal growth and self -realization. The guys are eager to share their knowledge and experience, as well as create unforgettable moments for children in camps. Participation in the competition became for participants in labor detachmentOV teenagers with an important step towards realizing their dreams of working in children’s health camps of Crimea, — said Denis Golovin, head of labor detachments of adolescents of the Crimean regional branch of the North Ossetia.
This summer I worked 2 shifts as an assistant to the counselor in the Mandarin children’s camp and at the competition was happy to share my experience with other guys. The profession of a counselor requires not only knowledge, but also responsibility, because we become mentors for children. Training plays a key role in our specialty, and therefore such events are very important. They help us better understand what it means to be a counselor and prepare for future challenges in this important profession, — Ksenia Yaresko, a methodologist of the Ibis labor detachment, the Crimean regional branch of the North Ossetia, shares the impressions of Ksenia Yaresko.
The event contributes to the development of leadership qualities in schoolchildren, improving their professional skills and skills in the specialty “counselor”, which opens up for them in the future to find a job as animators and assistants to the counselor in children’s health camps of Crimea.
