The best rescuer of Crimea in 2023 is Fedor Spilny from the Simferopol squad «CRIMEA-SPAS»

Rescuer of the Simferopol emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» Fyodor Spilny won the annual competition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea for the title of «Best Rescuer». The second place was taken by Konstantin Nagornykh, a rescuer from the Sudak ASO, and the third place was taken by Elvis Seitmamutov, a rescuer from the Feodosia ASO.

According to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev, this competition is held annually in two stages. At the first stage, the selection of applicants took place directly in the divisions of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea “CRIMEA-SPAS”, after which the documents of the applicants who scored the most points were provided to the competition commission.

Fedor Spilny has been working at KRYM-SPAS since 2015. He is qualified as a 2nd class rescuer. Performs the duties of a senior (manager) of the duty shift. Masters seven rescue specialties. He is the foreman of the diving station of the Simferopol ASO and one of the leaders of the descents — releasing parachute-free landings as part of the Rescue Search and Landing Group of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS».

Fedor is one of the most experienced rescuers of the Simferopol ASO. In non-standard situations he acts promptly, decisively and professionally. Adapts quickly and makes decisions in problematic situations, — said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea. — In just 10 months of 2023, he took part in 65 rescue operations, including 17 search and rescue operations in the mountain forest zone, 7 in the water area. 5 times involved in work to eliminate the consequences of natural emergencies and 1 time — man-made accident. He especially distinguished himself during a rescue operation to evacuate people during massive flooding.

In addition, the best rescuer of Crimea in 2023 is a member of the KRO «ROSSOYUZSPAS».
