The All-Russian stage of the competition was held with the support of the Government of the Tula region in the Octava cluster.
The finalists wrote a dictation and developed a lesson project based on the work and life of L.N. Tolstoy based on a trip to Yasnaya Polyana. The teachers took part in thematic master classes, went on excursions to the Weapons Museum and the Tula Defense Museum, and on the final day, together with federal and regional experts, discussed the state of the modern language and ways to popularize literate Russian speech.
The awards were presented to the winners by Olga Gremyakova and the Vice-Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia Bogdan Legostaev.
The goal of the Olympiad is to increase the prestige of the teaching profession. The same idea underlies the creation of the Empathy Foundation: we launch charitable programs in different regions of Russia to support and develop the teaching community. A school teacher is a person who determines our common future, and it is worth maintaining the prestige of such an important profession not only in word, but also in deed,” Mikhail Shelkov, founder of the Empathy Foundation, congratulated the winners.
