A review competition organized by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia was held in Sevastopol: the best volunteer firefighter was determined.
Representatives of four voluntary fire brigades competed on the territory of the Patriot Park: from the Aval and Sigma-Krym enterprises, the Sevastopol Cossack District society and the regional branch of the All-Russian Volunteer Fire Society. The participants had to fight in an individual sports program, which offered a number of difficult, but bright and spectacular challenges. In particular, volunteer firefighters competed in putting on combat clothing, combat deployment, laying a working hose line, and providing first aid to a conditional victim. The theoretical training of the contestants was also evaluated , — the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Sevastopol notes.
According to the results of the competition, Alexey Titlyanov, a member of the Sigma-Crimea team, was recognized as the best voluntary firefighter in Sevastopol. Also, the competition jury, which included representatives of the emergency department, is currently evaluating the work of voluntary units: based on the results of a similar competitive program, the best voluntary fire brigade will be named.
As part of the event, which this year was dedicated to — the anniversary of the civil defense of Russia, everyone were able to learn how to put on protective suits «L-1» and «OZK». The master class was prepared by employees of the Department of Civil Defense and Population Protection of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol.
