Crews of coastal missile systems (BRK) «Bal» and «Bastion» of the Black Sea Fleet conducted an exercise to defend the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and the Caucasian coast in the event of a threat of missile strikes by ship groups of a mock enemy from the Black Sea.

According to the plan of the exercise, the military personnel of the battalions of the DBK in the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory are working out the tasks of delivering a missile attack on sea targets.

During the exercise, the crews of the missile systems made marches to the designated position areas, deployed launchers, detected surface targets, identified and tracked them. The actions of the mock enemy imitated the ships of the Black Sea Fleet. The defeat of naval targets was carried out by conditional (electronic) missile launches , — reports the press service of the Southern Military District.
