The “BoomBattle” waste paper collection campaign has ended in Crimea. Almost 40 tons collected

The “BoomBattle” waste paper collection campaign has ended. The Republic of Crimea, according to the organizers, collected 38,184 tons. The initiators of the action were the ANO “National Priorities” and the All-Russian environmental public movement “Ecosystem”.
The regional operator, Krymbumaga LLC, and the Crimean branch of the All-Russian environmental social movement “Ecosystem” have identified several points for receiving raw materials. In addition, as part of the campaign, eco-lessons were held: “Hand in waste paper and save a tree”, “A second life for paper”, “BoomBattle ecosystem”, “Trees are our green friends”, “Ecolates are nature’s helpers”, “Garbage must be separated”, “Sorting garbage — saving nature”, lectures on the topic of separate waste collection. There were also excursions to waste paper processing plants— reported the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea.
The main goal of BumBattle is to reduce excessive consumption of paper, organize a system for its recycling and create an environmental culture. Not only schoolchildren, students, kindergarten students, but also anyone could take part. Representatives of large manufacturing enterprises, businesses and public organizations could also submit the paper.
