The boy was on his way to success: he felt like a “Bakhchisarai drug lord” and was caught with a kilogram of cannabis

In the Bakhchisarai region, a local resident was convicted of attempting to sell more than 1 kg of cannabis. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “d”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs, parts of plants containing narcotic drugs and plants containing narcotic drugs, committed on a large scale).
It was established that the defendant purchased cannabis, parts of plants and hemp plants, which he transferred to his household, where he crushed them and packaged them in plastic bags, paper parcels, cardboard boxes and glass jars.
During a search conducted by employees of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, more than 1 kg of marijuana and 2 kg of parts of hemp plants were found and seized in the house of the attacker— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The Bakhchisarai District Court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 10 years in prison to serve the sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
