The bridge across the Black River — near Sevastopol — is promised to be put into operation by autumn

In the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol, a bridge is being repaired across the Chernaya River on the Sturmovoe-Sakharnaya Lolovka highway. The work is carried out under the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads».

The commissioning date according to the contract is August 31, but we plan to commission the facility by summer. Conducted an annual diagnostics of the bridge structures of the city and found out that this bridge needed repair— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy director of the directorate for the development of road transport infrastructure Alexander Shiryaev.

Currently, the facility is repairing pedestrian barriers, restoring the protective layer on the supports and the superstructure. Also, the asphalt concrete pavement and expansion joints will be replaced here, the surfaces of the spans and the supporting parts of the bridge will be painted. The total length of the repair object is 50 meters.

Recall that in 2023, 51.4 km of roads will be repaired as part of the national project.
