In the city of Stary Krym, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate brought to justice a driver who grossly violated traffic rules. There are two distinctive points in this story. The first was a regular bus “Simferopol — Feodosia” with passengers. Second, photos and videos of the brazen violation went viral on social networks. The police responded.
Driver driving along the street. Chapaeva, Stary Krym, Kirov region, in violation of the requirements of road markings 1.1 of the Russian Federation Traffic Regulations, drove into the oncoming lane, thereby creating the danger of an accident. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate identified the offender; he turned out to be a 63-year-old resident of Simferopol. Administrative material has been drawn up against the driver under Part 4 of Art. 12.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and a fine of 5,000 rubles was imposed— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
It is emphasized that Crimean police officers continue to monitor social networks in order to identify administrative offenses in terms of ensuring road safety on the territory of the peninsula and take administrative measures against those involved.
