The cadets and teachers of Yalta were awarded at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in Moscow

On March 11, in Moscow, at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, a solemn ceremony was held to award the winners and prize-winners of the IX All-Russian children and youth competition “Hail, Cossacks!” Yalta was presented by 10th grade cadet Artyom Stepanov together with the head Ekaterina Khodko, a teacher-psychologist at the Livadia Secondary School. The competition work won in the film and video category.
In total, 2984 drawings, 372 videos and 157 graphic design works from 54 regions of the Russian Federation were submitted to the competition. The competition is dedicated to the role of the Cossacks in the formation of the Russian state, the military exploits of the Cossacks, their unique culture and traditions.
Organizers of the competition: Moscow regional branch of the World Russian People’s Council, Synodal Committee for Interaction with the Cossacks and the Commission of the RF OP on Charity and Social Work.
The competition is held in accordance with the State Policy Strategy of the Russian Federation regarding the Russian Cossacks for 2021–2030, approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of August 9, 2020 No. 505.
As part of the award ceremony, there was an excursion to the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Patriot Park and to the Road of Memory Museum — 1418 Steps to Victory, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and Red Square, the international exhibition-forum Russia at VDNKh.
