The “Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS” of the Republic of Crimea was recognized as the best in Russia based on the results of work for 2023

The State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS” became the winner of the All-Russian competition of professional excellence among centers for the prevention and control of AIDS and infectious diseases in 2023. The organizer of the competition is the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The results of the competition were summed up at the IX All-Russian Forum for specialists in the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. The winner’s diploma was presented to the chief physician of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS» Alexander Nemykin by Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Andrei Plutnitsky at the awards ceremony. The competition was held in several categories. The “Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS” of the Republic of Crimea took first place in the main category — “Best AIDS Center 2023”. The organizers and jury members assessed the quality and accessibility of medical services for patients, the effectiveness of HIV prevention and treatment programs, the level of professional training of medical workers and many other criterianoted the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
