The Center for Social Anthropology and Personality Formation was opened at KFU
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the Crimean Federal University. V.I. Vernadsky opened the Center for Social Anthropology and Personality Formation, aimed at studying the moral, cultural, social and ideological content of youth. The center was created as part of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program.
Initially, we studied the moral, cultural and social identity of young people who arrived in Crimea from the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation in order to facilitate their speedy and more harmonious socialization into Russian society, including the educational environment. We studied more than 1,500 respondents and developed a program of additional professional education aimed at developing the readiness of teachers to introduce technologies for adaptation of youth into Russian society. Today we have decided to expand our activities to the study of our modern youth in general and are opening our center for this— the press service quotes the head of the center, Maya Thum.
The center’s specialists will draw up a map of modern youth, which will include their professional preferences, moral principles, ability to work in a team and other aspects. This will help in forming a personnel reserve. In addition, the center will conduct career guidance activities and conduct psychological and psychophysiological diagnostics of the individual.
The material and technical support of the center allows for research in the field of personnel policy, in the field of personnel selection, in the field of assessment and monitoring of existing personnel for the purpose of identifying and correcting professional deformation and professional burnout. The staff of our center are sociologists, psychologists and psychophysiologists, and this allows us to conduct more in-depth and accurate researchnotes Maya Thum.
According to her, an expert platform will also be opened at the center, which will unite different areas of youth policy implementation, and a platform for advanced training of teachers, aimed at working with students and children.
