The Central Election Commission reports four cases of cancellation of voting results. One of them is in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Central Election Commission recorded four cases of cancellation of individual voting results. About it reported CEC Chairman Ella Pamfilova at a briefing on the preliminary results of the Unified Voting Day at the commission’s information center.

Currently we have four cases of invalidation of voting results— she said.

As an example, the head of the Central Election Commission cited a case at polling station number 550 in Crimea (this is a polling station in Bakhchisarai), where during the by-elections to the State Duma in the Simferopol single-mandate constituency, a member of the precinct election commission was stuffing ballots “right under the camera.”

We need to figure it out,” added Pamfilova.

What is there to figure out? The video from the surveillance cameras shows everything in full view. No matter how the participants in this “show” explain their actions, the result is already known — the voting results at the polling station have been annulled.

In general, across the country, 1,307 ballots were also declared invalid at 21 polling stations in 12 regions.

At 21 polling stations in 12 regions, 1,307 ballots were declared invalid. It’s a pity, this figure is small, small, but why are we treating it so harshly? Behind each unit there is a person who came and voted. Due to the fault of some unscrupulous people, these 1,307 votes had to be declared invalid. Those who are guilty must be punished for this— said Pamfilova.
