The ceremony of presenting medals of public recognition “Children of Heroes” took place in Simferopol

On March 12, the administration of Simferopol hosted a ceremony for presenting medals of public recognition “Children of Heroes”.

The event was attended by: Deputy Head of the Administration of the Crimean capital Alexander Semenchenko, Deputy Head of the Administration of the city of Simferopol Danil Smolyarenko, First Deputy Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Dvurechensky, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea Sherif Osmanov, Head of the Regional Branch of the State Fund «Defenders» Fatherland» Vladimir Tregub, Chairman of the Union of Veterans of the Northern Military District for the Republic of Crimea Alexander Kombarov, Chairman of the Regional Branch of DOSAAF of Russia of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Popov, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea Odyssey Pipiya, President of the Charitable Foundation «Let’s Be Merciful» Nonna Bakhareva, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, founder Interregional public movement of social civil initiatives “Team of Opportunities” Evgeny Pichugin, as well as invited families of soldiers of a special military operation who died while performing combat missions.

Based on the decision of the Interregional public movement of social civil initiatives “Team of Opportunities”, the Public Medal “Children of Heroes” was awarded to children whose father died at the front during a special military operation.

Such events are important both for us and for the families of special military operations soldiers defending our country. We will continue to provide them with all possible support. We remember the exploits of our Heroes,” noted Deputy Head of Simferopol Administration Alexander Semenchenko.

This program to support certain categories of children of military personnel includes, in addition to attention, benefits from the state and support from public organizations, various enterprises, and business sectors.
