The Chongarsky bridge on the border of the Kherson region and Crimea was restored (after a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine) in record time — in just 10 days. On the resumption of traffic informed head of the government of the Kherson region Andrey Alekseenko.
Transport communication between the Kherson region and the Crimea through Chongar, disrupted after the barbaric Nazi attack on the road bridge on June 22, has been completely restored. The shortest and most convenient transport corridor, where the recently renovated section of the federal highway passes, operates as before— said Alekseenko.
The chairman of the government of the region thanked the builders who worked on the restoration of the bridge, as well as the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation for their support and organization of work.
Senator from the region Konstantin Basyuk noted that from July 3, 2023, the transport connection of the Kherson region with the Crimea through Chongar is operating as before.
Bridge builders completed the restoration work ahead of schedule, instead of a twenty-day period, they met it in 10 dayshe added.
