The city of Sevastopol at the International Youth Olympiad of Standards in Korea will be represented by Karina Ischuk
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The city of Sevastopol will again be represented in the Russian team at the International Youth Standards Olympiad, which will be held in Korea. Like last year, having passed the All-Russian qualifying stage, Karina Ischuk joined the team. This time, the Sevastopol schoolgirl has achieved new heights — she won the right to be the captain of the senior team of the national team.
I took part in the Youth Standards Olympiad last year and, leaving Ufa, where the final stage took place, I firmly decided for myself that I would participate in the next one. Since this Olympiad is a colossal experience, a certain point of personal growth. In addition, these are new interesting acquaintances: all the participants are so different, but equally talented. From communication with the guys, mentors, organizers, you get extremely positive emotions. And, most importantly, you begin to believe in yourself even more.Karina said.
Recall that during the preliminary qualifying stage, the organizers from the Rosstandart system had to send an essay on the topic “What are the standards for?” Karina expressed her thoughts on the validity and necessity of a wireless headphone standard. Thanks to this work, the Sevastopol schoolgirl received the right to take part in the final all-Russian selection for the Russian national team, which took place in Nizhny Novgorod.
This step is higher than the qualifying round, so the topics of the standards were more serious. So, Karina’s team defended their vision of the food safety standard in the field of animal husbandry before the panel of judges. This collective work has become for the Sevastopol schoolgirl a «ticket» to the Russian team, which will represent our country at the upcoming International Youth Olympiad of Standards.
So, the national team of the Russian Federation included: Daria Surova from Nizhny Novgorod, Victoria Echina from Tomsk, Daniil Burtov representing Kazan, Dinar Dusov from Ufa, Sofia Pasternak from Lugansk and Karina Ishchuk from Sevastopol, with two participants (Daria Surova and Karina Ischuk) joined the Russian national team for the second time.
Recall that in 2023 the Russian Federation will take part in the International Youth Standards Olympiad for the second time, held on an annual basis since 2006 with the support of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
