The city Spartakiad of students started in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, on the basis of the sports complex «Sport for All», the solemn opening of the city Spartakiad of students took place. More than 400 athletes from 10 colleges and four universities will take part in the competition: SevSU , ChVVMU im. P. S. Nakhimov, branches of the PRUE. G. V. Plekhanov and Moscow State University. M. V. Lomonosov. The program of the Games includes competitions in table tennis, volleyball and basketball 3×3.

Physical education should energize all categories of the population, and students, of course, are no exception. I am glad that the Spartakiad of students has caused great activity among the student community. I hope that the strongest will win, and absolutely everyone will enjoy it , — said the head of the department for youth and sports of the government of Sevastopol Sergey Reznichenko.

On the first competitive day, representatives of higher educational institutions of Sevastopol competed for prizes in table tennis. Two teams of girls and two teams of boys took part from SevSU, a team of boys and a team of girls from ChVVMU named after P. S. Nakhimov.

The first place among boys was taken by the team of SevGU No. 1, the second place was taken by representatives of ChVVMU, the third — by SevGU No. 2. Among the girls, the team of SevGU No. 1 won, the team of SevGU No. 2 received silver, the third place went to the team of ChVVMU.

Recall that the Spartakiad of students of the city of Sevastopol is held within the framework of the federal project «Sport is the norm of life» of the national project «Demography» and will last until December.
