The commander of the 810th separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, Colonel Oleg Vlasov, was awarded the Golden Star of the Hero of Russia

On behalf of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, presented the Gold Star medals of the Hero of Russia to the commander of the separate 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, Colonel Mikhail Gudkov, and the commander of the separate 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, Colonel Oleg Vlasov for courage, heroism and skillful command of subordinate formations, demonstrated during the successful repulsion of the enemy’s offensive,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement on October 25.
In August, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Order of Zhukov with the Order of Ushakov. The brigade was awarded the Order of Zhukov in January 2018.
