The commissions continue to assess the damage that the disaster caused to the residents of Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In those places of Sevastopol where houses were flooded due to heavy rainfall and a sharp rise in groundwater, commissions continue to work to record the damage caused by the disaster. To date, they have compiled about 30 protocols, and work continues. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced this.

Let me remind you that I instructed First Deputy Alexei Nikolaevich Parikin to head the commission. The allocation of funds from the reserve fund is provided. The amount of 100 thousand is not final; if necessary, we will increase the amount of compensation after the work of the commissions and assessment— said the head of the city.

The Sevastopol rescue service together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to provide targeted assistance to people.

As I already said, rescuers helped local residents remove property, pumped water out of houses, and are now drying houses with heat and gas gunsadded Mikhail Razvozhaev.

In total, a group of forces and means of 124 people and 32 pieces of equipment was brought in to help people.

The day before, the Sevastopol Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring warned of worsening weather conditions, rain and strong winds on January 26. On the rivers of the northern foothills, water levels are expected to rise by 0.5-1.0 m without reaching dangerous levels.

The Sevastopol Rescue Service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Sevprirodnadzor are monitoring the situation. Utilities are also on full alert. In case of incidents, call 101 and 112.
