The competition “Memory of Heroes in the Names of Streets and Squares of Sevastopol” has been launched

Today in Sevastopol the patriotic competition “Memory of the Heroes in the Names of the Streets and Squares of Sevastopol”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders, started. The purpose of the competition is to develop in the younger generation a sense of patriotism and respect for the Motherland, love for their native land.
We invite Sevastopol schoolchildren from 10 to 17 years old to remember the names of the Heroes who gave us a peaceful sky. To participate, you must submit a creative work — a presentation with a story about the streets and squares of Sevastopol, the names of which are named after the defenders and liberators of the city during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Anna Soshkina, a specialist in working with families at the Center for Social Assistance to Family and Children.
