According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, work continues in Crimea to eliminate the consequences of the passage of dangerous weather phenomena — that same November “storm of the century”.

As of today, 123 private households, 2 apartment buildings, 60 country houses and 163 personal plots have been exempted from water. 36 private households and 30 household plots remained floodedsaid the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev.

Work is underway to develop a canal for water discharge in the village of Pribrezhnoye (in the Saki district). Over the past two days, a trench about 400 meters long has been dug, and work continues.

In addition, 3,396 trees were removed, 438 are in the process of removal. 841 roofs have been restored, another 241 are in the works. Work to assess the damage continues. In total, more than 1,300 people and 400 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the incidents of the November storm.
