The cost of getting a child ready for school in Crimea averages 13 thousand rubles

School uniform, change of clothes, tracksuit, sneakers, stationery, backpack — preparing a child for school is the most expensive for parents from Moscow and St. Petersburg. In a survey by a service for finding high-paying jobs Superjob Parents of schoolchildren and first-graders of 2024 from Crimea took part.
On average, parents from Moscow spent 16,500 rubles to prepare their child for the school year, while parents from St. Petersburg spent 15,000 rubles. In Crimea, expenses this year will cost 13,000 rubles per child.
In Yekaterinburg and Kazan, school fees cost families 14,800 rubles per child, in Krasnoyarsk — 14,500 rubles. The most economical this year were parents from Volgograd: school fees cost 12,800 rubles. The expenses in Ufa were slightly higher — 12,900 rubles.
The budget for preparing a schoolchild is growing year after year. SuperJob has recorded the largest increase this year in Rostov-on-Don (+14%), Voronezh and Volgograd (plus 13% each).
According to a survey of parents of schoolchildren and future first-graders, 9% of Russian families take out loans to get their children ready for school. The opportunity to spend the remainder of maternity capital funds on these purposes will be a great help for such citizens.
