The prosecutor’s office of Yevpatoriya conducted an audit of compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of production and consumption waste management. The fact of unauthorized storage of household and construction waste on a land plot in the north-eastern industrial zone of the city was revealed.
It is emphasized that the local administration does not take any measures to clean up the territory from garbage.
Under such circumstances, the prosecutor’s office filed a claim with the court on the obligation of the municipality to eliminate the place of unauthorized waste disposal. The court satisfied the claims of the prosecutor’s office, the execution of the court decision is under control— reported in the supervisory department.
