The creative album “Color the Crimea” received the Grand Prix of the All-Russian competition “Tourist Souvenir”

The national final of the IX All-Russian competition “Tourist Souvenir” took place in Tver. The jury selected the winners from 60 regions of the country. Crimea won six awards. According to Tourist portal of Crimea, The Grand Prix went to the creative album “Color the Crimea”. Five more republican souvenirs were awarded laureate diplomas.
This year, 611 positions were allowed to participate in the main final of the All-Russian competition “Tourist Souvenir”, shared the founder of the creative competition Gennady Shatalov. The jury evaluated edible, aromatic, interior, game and other categories of souvenirs that reveal the identity of different regions of Russia. All of them previously passed through the regional finals.
Crimea was also among the winners of the national stage. Six souvenirs made by craftsmen from the peninsula were awarded laureate diplomas. The highest award of the competition — Grand Prix — was awarded to creative album “Color Crimea”, created by Lyudmila Anisimova and Vera Ershova from Simferopol. There are 10 scenes inside the coloring book. Among them are iconic sights of the region, for example, the cable car to Ai-Petri, the Alushta rotunda, Ayu-Dag and Adalary, the White Rock, the Yenikale fortress in Kerch.
First place in the “Gastronomic Souvenir” category of the high price category (from 500 to 3 thousand rubles) was taken by the cheese sweets of the Kerch cheese factory “Eat Our Own”. They are made by hand from different types of cheese, combined with natural berries and fruits, and covered with Belgian chocolate. The assortment includes eight varieties of cheese desserts with orange, ginger, coffee, pear and melon, and cayenne pepper.
In the category “Souvenir of the Region”, economy class (up to 200 rubles), 3rd place went to the brooch “Lavender Crimea” from Yalta craftswoman Galina Koroteeva-Olkhovik. In the category “Souvenir of a tourist route” in the middle price category (from 200 to 500 rubles), “bronze” was shared with her by the owner of the TM “Lavender Field” Inna Shevchenko, who presented a magnet with lavender for the competition.
Dzhankoy master Pavel Uslov received a special diploma for the ceramic figurine “Dancing Dervish” in the “Museum Souvenir” category (from 200 to 500 rubles). And the second similar award, but for the game “Scythians vs. Sarmatians. War for the Amazon,” taken by his son Svetozar Uslov. He was awarded a special diploma “For popularizing historical heritage through board games for children” in the souvenir toy category.
In 2023, two more new nominations appeared as part of the competition — “Best city for tourist souvenir products” and “Best region for tourist souvenir products”. More details about who won them, as well as a complete list of competition laureates can be seen at event website.
