The creative project “MultiFamily” was launched in Sevastopol. Favorite city»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Creative project “MultiFamily. Favorite City» is aimed at children, as well as their parents from large families and participants of the SVO. In three free lessons you will learn how to draw, voice-over and edit cartoons.
Each family will create a unique animated story about themselves and their favorite city, about their favorite places in it. The best works will be shown at the final event, which will also become a high-profile and interesting event with a large number of invited guests and encouragement for talented project participants— quotes «Sevastopol newspaper» project manager Tatyana Bastrygina.
During the lessons, adults and children will learn how to write a script, create characters and scenery, shoot frame by frame, edit and voice a cartoon. Each participant in the project will be able to choose what technique to create a cartoon in — hand-drawn, mixed, plasticine or three-dimensional.
The first classes have already taken place on October 7 and 8. Teachers of the MultiFamily club told adults and children how animation developed in Russia, what the first cartoon was like, and what rotoscoping is. Project “MultiFamily. Favorite City» became the winner in the second competition of the 2023 Presidential Grants Foundation.
This is a family project, so we welcome not only parents, but also grandparents. In total, we plan to train about 54 families, that’s more than 200 people — there are still places, you can call and sign up. Now a family of a SVO participant comes to our classes — there are eight children in itsays Tatyana Bastrygina.
According to the project manager, making a one-and-a-half-minute cartoon in three sessions is realistic. We already have such experience, since this is the second time a similar project has taken place in Sevastopol. Moreover, each lesson lasts three hours.
Cartoons created by families will be shown at a cartoon festival in the summer.
