The crews of small anti-submarine ships «Yeisk» and «Suzdalets» work out training tasks in the Black Sea
With the crews of small anti-submarine ships (MPK) «Yeisk» and «Suzdalets» of the Black Sea Fleet, an exercise was held on organizing air defense and conducting naval combat by a single ship. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District (SMD).
Having completed sea crossings each to their assigned area, the crews worked out a set of measures to search for, escort and repel an attack by air attack means of a mock enemy with artillery and anti-aircraft missile firing at sea and air targets. The exercise was aimed at working out the actions of the crews in the event of simultaneous threats both from the air and from the sea , the message says.
Earlier, a detachment of ships of the Black Sea Fleet went to sea combat training ranges to conduct exercises as part of the fleet forces. The crews of the Yeysk and Suzdalets MPKs as part of the anti-submarine ship strike group have already worked out the search for enemy submarines, as well as the placement of training minefields on the routes of possible actions of the mock enemy forces.
In total, about 20 ships and support vessels from the Black Sea Fleet take part in the exercises of the fleet forces.
