The crews of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet carried out missile firing at surface targets during the exercise. About it reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the combat training plan for the forces of the Black Sea Fleet, the crew of the Ivanovets missile boat carried out live firing of anti-ship cruise missiles at the target ship in the combat training range in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
Telemetry data and video monitoring from unmanned aerial vehicles confirmed the success of the combat exercise, the target ship was destroyed as a result of a missile attackthe message says.
Also, during the joint exercise, the ships and fleet aviation worked out actions to isolate the area temporarily closed to navigation, and also carried out a set of measures to detain the offending vessel.
Formerly Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reportedthat from July 20, all ships, including tankers, calling at Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea, will be considered carriers of military cargo. Russia will consider the countries that own these vessels to be involved in a military conflict with Ukraine. In addition, a number of sea areas in the northwestern and southeastern parts of international waters have been declared temporarily dangerous for navigation.
