In the Simferopol region, a man accused of causing grievous bodily harm will appear in court.
According to the preliminary investigation authorities, the accused in February 2024, at night, while in the village of Krasnaya Zorka, during a conflict with a stranger, hit him on the head with a car muffler. As a result of the actions of the accused, the victim suffered an open craniocerebral injury, which is serious harm to health, dangerous to human life— said the prosecutor’s office.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Simferopol District Court for consideration on the merits. Punishment under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is quite severe — up to 10 years in prison.
