The Crimea was launched by conducting courses for the heads of Crimean schools

According to an additional professional training program “Financial literacy of the head of a general educational organization in a digital economy”, 1000 people are planned to be trained— announced Irina Kiviko.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the event took place as part of the implementation of the strategy for increasing financial literacy and the formation of financial culture to 2030 and the State Program of the Republic of Crimea “Department of Finance of the Republic of Crimea”.
The event was organized by the Crimean Republican Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education (Cryppo) under the patronage of the Ministry of Education of Crimea.
About 400 directors of Crimean schools took part in the event, including more than 300 in video conferences.
Today no one doubts the importance of financial literacy. This skill is necessary for every responsible person, especially in conditions of rapidly changing economic reality. The implementation of the strategy approved by the Government of Russia to increase financial literacy until 2030 will contribute to the growth of the well -being of the country’s residents and will contribute to the dynamics of investment and economic growth in the country,-quoted the press service of the chief financier of Crimea.
The strategy involves the active promotion of knowledge on the topics of budgetary and investment literacy, the safe use of new financial technologies, responsible borrowing and the culture of savings.
A lot has already been done — teaching financial literacy has been introduced at all levels of the education system, an effective system for managing programs for increasing financial literacy at the federal and regional levels has been created.
The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized that it is very important to instill knowledge on financial literacy since childhood.
We must motivate young people to increase their level of financial literacy with the help of olympiads, trainings, events and business games that model real activities. As a result — young people should own the basics of financial literacy and use modern finance management tools, be able to confront fraudsters— Irina Kiviko drew the attention of the participants.
Also, in the framework of her speech, the deputy chairman noted the merits of the regional center for financial literacy, created on the basis of the crypto, for the development of the personnel potential of the republic.
During the work of the Center, 15 additional professional promotion programs were developed for financial literacy for the leading and pedagogical personnel of organizations engaged in educational activities in the Republic of Crimea, ”Irina Kiviko emphasized.
She added that the modules/topics on financial literacy in 18 additional professional qualifications for teachers-subject teachers have been developed and included, which allowed to additionally train more than 2.3 thousand teachers for the same period. The results of the annual monitoring of the share of general educational organizations engaged in the territory of the republic, which ensured the inclusion of financial literacy elements in educational programs of general education showed an increase by more than 2 times: from 35.7 % in the 2020/2021 academic year to 77.8 % in 2024.
Reference: the participants of the event were also performed by representatives of the leadership of the Interregional Directorate of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Office of the Federal Tax Service for the Republic of Crimea, the financial supervision of the Republic of Crimea, the department of the Crimea of the Southern Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
