The project is aimed at preserving and developing a unified cultural space and traditions of the art of puppet theater.
The Crimean Academic Puppet Theater became a participant in the XIX International Festival of Puppet Theaters “Ryazan Shows”, which was held on the stages of Ryazan and brought together groups from Vologda, Orenburg, Kazan, Surgut, Nakhodka, Moscow, Saratov, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Ryazan, Khanty-Mansiysk and foreign countries.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the project is aimed at preserving and developing a single cultural space and traditions of the art of puppet theater, strengthening cultural ties, introducing the viewer to the diversity of forms and types of theatrical art in Russia and abroad.
During the festival, participants showed their best theatrical performances, exchanged experiences, communicated with each other and with the audience.
The Crimean theater group presented the farce play “What Happened to the Crocodile?” based on the play by Marina Moskvina and Sergei Sedov. The production of the director — Honored Artist of Crimea Daria Yaroshenko and artist Galina Bessinnaya, performed by Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Ekaterina Karpova, artists Vladimir Aleshin, Alexander Donskov, Yulia Yatsenko and Egor Makarov won the hearts and love of the audience,” noted the Republican Ministry of Culture.
One of the most long-awaited and traditional gifts from the organizers of the festival was a theatrical skit, in which artists of the Crimean theater also performed their numbers.
