The Crimean Academic Puppet Theater premiered the play “Fedorino’s Grief”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On October 25, 26 and 27, the Crimean Academic Puppet Theater will host the premiere of the play “Fedorino Grief” based on the fairy tales of Korney Chukovsky.
More than a hundred years have passed since the writing of children’s works by Korney Chukovsky, but his fairy tales have not lost their relevance even now, remaining at the peak of popularity among all generations. Everyone remembers lines from his simple and at the same time very instructive, extraordinary stories “Cockroach”, “Moidodyr”, “Miracle Tree”, “Confusion” and “Fedorino’s Grief”. What unites them in our performance is the desire of the production team: the director and author of the staging, Dmitry Smirnov, and the artist, Honored Worker of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Svetlana Safronova, in a form similar to cinema, to present bright, memorable characters with good, educational morals.
As if by the wave of a magic wand, according to the director’s plan, heroes from the pages of various fairy tales by Korney Ivanovich flew onto the stage of the puppet theater to tell the story about Grandma Fedora. Our heroine lives in a world of adventure and magic, where offended, dirty dishes make a fabulous escape, and where only a miracle tree can help cope with the main enemy of cleanliness and order — the cockroach,” noted the Crimean Academic Puppet Theater.
The performance includes: Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Alexander Rassokha, artists Olga Volobueva, Alexander Donskov and Ekaterina Lyadnova. Recommended age for viewing: 3+ Performances will be held on the Small Stage of the Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. M. Gorky (Pushkin St., 15)
