The Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Gorky presented the premiere — “Amadeus”

An exhibition of 90 sketches has been prepared for the performance.

Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. M. Gorky presented the premiere of the play “Amadeus” based on the play by British playwright Peter Schaeffer.

The author and director of the play is the artistic director of the theater, Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Magar. Production designer — People’s Artist of Russia Boris Blank, artist Kirill Eremin, lighting designer Roman Klochkov, plastic design — Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Irina Panteleeva, dance direction — Honored Artist of Crimea Olga Chekhova, musical design — Anton Kalinichenko.

The play “Amadeus” is an incredible story, almost a detective story, about the famous composers Mozart and Salieri. There have been debates for many years: did Salieri poison Mozart? In Alexander Pushkin’s work “Mozart and Salieri”, the author unequivocally states that Mozart was poisoned by Salieri — is this really so? The theater, together with the author, is trying to uncover this terrible secret. The next shows will take place on June 20 and 29.
