The Crimean Blood Service became one of the laureates in the All-Russian event-competition “Donor Code. Mentoring»

A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and laureates of the “Donor Code” competition took place in Moscow. Mentoring” dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. The goal of the action is to increase the level of participation of the population, including the teaching community, in the donation of blood and its components and bone marrow donation through the expansion of intersectoral cooperation, the introduction of new propaganda formats, and the development of mentoring in the field of donation. Organizers: Coordination Council for Blood Donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation; Federal Medical and Biological Agency, NF «National Fund for Health Development».

Educational and non-profit organizations, regional and municipal authorities, and blood service institutions from all over the country took part in the competition. In total, more than 250 applications from 62 regions were submitted to the competition. Participants of the action presented their projects in 8 categories: “Educational activities in the field of blood and bone marrow donation”, “Donation outside the format”, “Lessons about the main thing. Blood and bone marrow donation”, “Donation as a system”, “Mentors of the Russian donor movement”, “Donor code. Mentors”, “Region as one team”, “Donation management”.

The Crimean “Blood Center” took an active part in the action and became a laureate in the category “Donation outside the format” with the project — “CHILDREN will be better than US… BE better, become a DONOR!”

The main message of this project was that each of us can be an authority, example and mentor in donation for a child. The Crimean Blood Service organized educational events “Simply about the complex. Donation» in children’s camps of Crimea. In addition, the campaign “Parent is the most important mentor” was held.
