The Crimean Center for Professional Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons provides training in 11 in-demand professions
CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to Sergei Aksenov, since 2019, more than 4 thousand units of modern equipment have been purchased at the expense of the federal and regional budgets, which has improved the quality and efficiency of rehabilitation services.
One of the important areas of the system’s work is professional rehabilitation. “At the Center for Professional Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, people with disabilities can learn 11 in-demand professions. Graduates are supported for their subsequent employment. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 147 people completed their training at the Center and received a working specialty– the press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
In addition, in 2024, a property complex was assigned to the Center, on the basis of which, starting next year, it is planned to organize the rehabilitation of participants in a special military operation, as well as the recreation and recovery of family members of our fallen soldiers.
Particular attention is paid to children. Thus, at the end of 2023, a major renovation of the buildings of the Multidisciplinary Complex Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children in Yevpatoria and the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities in Simferopol was completed. “This has made it possible to improve the quality of rehabilitation services and increase coverage of children and adolescents who need them. During this year, social and rehabilitation services in a hospital setting were provided to 468 disabled children– notes the Head of Crimea.
In addition, this year, mobile teams of specialists have been organized for children from remote settlements. Also, on the basis of the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities and social rehabilitation departments for disabled children, there are resource centers for organizing the rehabilitation process at home. Currently, rehabilitation equipment has been provided to 125 families.
